JamPro
So I went to the Musescore website to download Musescore to my new office computer, and I noticed they have some new music software. There is Muse Sounds, which are described as "high quality playback instruments" - I think these are VST instruments offered for free. And there is MuseFX, which I think are VST effects - again for free. And then there is a collection of "sound effects": recorded whooshes, rain sounds, car horns, and other assorted recorded noises. Has anyone tried any of these and can report back? And if anyone is looking for a free sheet music writing app, free VST instruments and FX, you may want to check out Musescore (www.Musescore.org). (Full disclosure: I have no involvement with Musescore.org; I have used the Musescore sheet music app and find it acceptable.)
