AKA Posted August 13, 2004 Share Posted August 13, 2004 The Black Eyed Peas were not injured in a fire that severely damaged the recording studio they were working at in Burbank, California on Wednesday. MTV reports that the fire was caused by a candle left unattended. The members of the hip hop group and other staff at Glenwood Place Studios were in another room on a meal break. Looked like a Takamine - it had controls for a pickup. I usually don't relate to rap or hip hop, but I really like this group. They have a light hearted spirit and a good band behind them.
