Mats Olsson.
Yup, according to the article I linked to, the film is based on this true story. It's fascinating and sad. http://www.lexam.net/peter/carnut/man.gif What do we want? Procrastination! When do we want it? Later!
Ouizel
And, when granted his freedom in 1999, he refused to sign the papers. Egad. **Standard Disclaimer** Ya gotta watch da Ouizel, as he often posts complete and utter BS. In this case however, He just might be right. phaeton
Wait, didn't Natalie Portman star in some movie where she was knocked up, naked (except for a coating of hot grits), and petrified, living in a Wal-Mart where she begat children? I've only heard of this movie, and haven't seen it. That's good, right? Dr. Seuss: The Original White Rapper . WWND?
skipclone 1
That airport is a freakin bermuda triangle. Last year I damn near turned into a red tape captive myself-seven hours worth of absurdity. timobrien
It's actually a very good movie, although they take liberties with the real guy's story and I think some of the ending should have been changed. The biggest problem with it is that most people can't stand to wait in the airports anymore and I think the thought of sitting for 2 hours watching a guy waiting in the airport is not too appealing. By the way, the real guy is still there at the airport even though he can leave. He's banked the several hundred thousand bucks they gave him and still sits there.... so it seems to me that some mental illness is working there, too... Definitely worth seeing tho.
