Radagast
In addition to Ravenscroft (they count as a U.S. manufacturer), David Rubenstein pianos are made in America. Not to be confused with the pianist David Rubinstein, who spells his name “Rubin” instead of “Ruben”. http://www.pianosrubenstein.com There is a lot more to a piano than simply the case. Now there are other ways to have pianos. They never need tuning, they don't take up much space, you don't have to hire a separate moving company just to deal with it, and they can be put away if need be and taken out after the baby has gone to sleep or otherwise stopped throwing pudding into everything. Speak for yourself. I just stopped throwing pudding in 2012. In 2016, I switched to throwing dead frogs at the TV when the news was on. I went from a superior console to a couple of baby grands and a Wurly. I made a leap from there to synths, so my personal crossover point wasn't half bad. I'd love to have a few sampled joyful screams from young'uns who land a Nord or Yamaha DP. I firmly believe that if you want a kid to take up music, get them a proper instrument. A POS will just make for a sour experience. A good one is the best launch pad.
