KuruPrionz Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Many good points made. I've never used the black and white mode on the camera in digital - well I tried it but meh... Back in the day, we used to go into the channels to adjust things like the sky, etc. I've monkeyed about with the RGB, CMYK and Lab Color channels and there are nifty things you can do in each of those. Sometimes it's simply easier to make a selection in one of those Channel images. Save the selection and you can apply changes in a different channel or on the composite color image. Sort of like dodging and burning with an enlarger but with more precision. Now I'm using Photoshop Elements so it's all RGB and I haven't tried going into the color channels yet.
