Stephen Fortner Posted July 18, 2004 Share Posted July 18, 2004 Hey gang, I know this is last minute, but I'm a bonehead and should have posted it sooner. I'll be playing a gig tonight, Saturday July 17, with a great soul and blues band: Cafe R&B at the famous Ritz Carlton Huntington hotel in Pasadena. This band smokes, and it's always a pleasure when I get to play with them. It's in their lounge, which is casusal but nice, and there ain't no cover, so LA-area folks: stop in and see me if y'all are lookin' for something to do. I'll have the new Hammond XK-3 on the gig, going through my real Leslie if anyone wants to check that out. We downbeat at 9:00 and play a couple of 1-hour sets with a break.
