StanC
Hi, Chord pattern is pretty straight forward for most of the song, but I am struggling with the short organ fill at 00:13 and 00:21 in the YT vid below. I've seen it written from some online sources as D to A, B to D, B5to D5. None of which sounds right to me. Not sure if the chords are incorrect or maybe I just have the voicings wrong. Any suggestions? BTW, don't recall ever seeing a 5 suffix on a chord symbol. What does that mean? Thanks for all suggestions! 3rdAct
A "5 chord" is a notation for a "power chord," which includes just the root and fifth, no third.

lightbg
I"m hearing it as an E sustained single note, followed by D, C#, B, A, cascading down to an E major triad 1st inversion, then Sean trades off to an A9, back and forth to E, and finally finishing with a B11 ( F#m7 over B). My best guess. Now I need a nap. Excuse me.
