Greg Mein
Way back last July I received an email from Ableton about this little web program or course that looked interesting but then I never took the time to have a look at it. I was curious if anyone else had taken a look at it. Perhaps it's a bit elementary for folks here but if it's laid out good it might at least be kind of fun. Anderton
I've known about this for a while, to me it looks like a proof of concept that's actually viable...I think Ableton did a good job. I wonder if they're going to take it further, or whether they're waiting for web MIDI to get more traction. Just imagine what would be possible if web MIDI started really taking off. Google is working on it, as are many other companies. The other day I hooked up a MIDI keyboard to my computer, and played a synth that someone has in his house in New Zealand. That was pretty amazing to me. I'd always told myself I was going to take some time and look at this, I wasn't even aware there was some other cool underlying technology to it.
