mate stubb
Does anybody know what Yamaha piano model was played by Richard Tandy on the 2014 live ELO date in Hyde Park? Some kind of Clavinova I guess, but my Google Fu is weak tonight and I can't run the model down. It has 3 legs plus a traditional pedal lyre. Kawai James
Probably one of the CVP-500 models? Quote Employed by Kawai Japan, however the opinions I express are my own. Nord Electro 3 & occasional rare groove player.
jverghese
I believe he played a Yamaha CP1 Stage Piano that was seated in a grand-like shell. The shell was probably made by Yamaha, at least it has the logo. Actually it looks very much like the CVP-309, but if you look at footage from 2013 you can see that it's a CP1. The current pianist still uses a CP1, but the shell was made by a company called DutchGrand.
