xKnuckles
This seems incredible! Ozone elements mastering software, which normally costs over £100 to buy, is available free this week. I use it and it is a superb & extremely user friendly program. https://www.izotope.com/content/izotope/en/products/ozone.html Quote "Turn your fingers into a dust rag and keep them keys clean!" mojkarma
Thank you for the info! I downloaded the Mac version and it shows me the warning that the software may not function in a future update. Hopefully Ozone will be updated to the 64bit version. In case I wasn't completely clear, this free Ozone Element software will stop functioning in a couple of days when Apple releases its new MacOs Catalina which will accept only 64bit software. You're not very "completely clear", I'm afraid. The software will time out for everybody? Or just not run in Catalina? I'm well aware of the fact that 32-bit software won't run in Catalina - we've all seen the "may not function" alerts. I'm going to stick with Mojave for now since I still have quite a few 32-bit apps. I think you mean to say that Ozone will stop funtioning if one updates to Catalina in a couple of days, right? Those of us who stick with Mojave and earlier will be fine. Soapbox time: imo it's just dumb for anyone relying on music software to immediately update to a new OS only because it becomes available â especially this time, considering the fact that Catalina drops 32-bit support. Joe Muscara
I'm 99% sure that warning about the software not functioning was for the Izotope installer, not for Ozone itself. Ozone is a 64-bit plug-in. If it wasn't, it wouldn't even work in Logic Pro X, but it does. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible!
