ElmerJFudd
http://ruismaker.com/mozaic/ Its creator describes it as a workshop in a plug-in. Mozaic lets you turn your iOS device into a MIDI filter/controller that does whatever you want a toolkit for making your own MIDI gadgets. Oh yeah and its just US$6.99, which is absurd but awesome. The beauty of this, of course, is that you can have whatever tools you want without having to wait for someone else to make them for you. Developer Bram Bos has been an innovator in music software for years he created one of the first drum machines, among some ground-breaking (and sometimes weird) plug-ins, and now is one of the more accomplished iOS developers. So you can vouch for the quality of this one. It might move my iPad Pro back into must-have territory. http://cdm.link/2019/05/mozaic-scriptable-midi-ipad-iphone/ http://ruismaker.com/wp-content/uploads/mozscreenshot-768x485.jpg Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-

ElmerJFudd
Same idea it looks like, yes. Maybe not as fully featured. But maybe enough, $6.99 vs $24.99. Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
GovernorSilver
So its a copy of MIDI Designer? It has more in common with Streambyter, which is another custom MIDI solutions app built around a programming language. Streambyter started out more on the coding/programming side and was intended to be partnered with MIDI Designer, rather than provide its own GUI builder. https://audeonic.com/streambyter/ Mozaic combines the Streambyter idea with the custom GUI idea in MIDI Designer. It lets you type your programming script straight into an iOS device. Not sure about Streambyter. I don't think MIDI Designer lets you do that. There's no doubt Brambos was inspired by Streambyter to come up with his own scripting language and see if he could make it friendlier for musicians. But Streambyter has responded with a fresh update and some GUI features. Competition is good.
Synthoid
Mozaik... is that a word combining Mozart + Muzak? When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
GovernorSilver
The links in the OP should have the proper spelling, for those who are concerned.
