I had a bit of trouble hearing what he said as the name of the main hardware synth that inspired this new soft synth, as I only heard "800" and knew it wasn't the Poly-800, but quickly found a match at Vintage Synth Explorer:

I don't think I was previously aware of this 1975 offering. perhaps Keith Emerson used it some at the time?
