Nobody likes moving Hammonds. It dramatically affects pricing.

Many, many Hammonds with the good tone generator were made. Not like the rare synths. The B3 is the only one which regualrly commands a higher price, but it's still less than high-end clone, usually. OK, a perfect, rebuilt B3 will pull some money, like these:

Those are like buying a new one. I love watching the videos.

 

My RT3 was free, from my brother, but I had to fly over, rent a uhaul and haul it home, picking up some leslies on the way. I bought a two-speed 21H, 760 and rare 105, all for 900.

Easy to find a good Hammond, like A100, under 1K. They are thrown away everyday. like pianos. The leslies are not so easy, if you want the 122 or 147. 800-1500, though, I think no problem. For 2k you can find organ and leslie. For a B3 you pay double.

 

But getting them, that's the issue
