Danzilla Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 This past weekend, I attended the first annual Progstock Festival in New Jersey. While I didn't get to perform there, my bass did. The double-bass ensemble of Echo Test was playing at the late-night show/after-party. The audience wanted more, but Julie Slick said, "Sorry - I broke a string. Unless someone else has a bass I can use, we're done." I asked if she was serious, because, good Boy Scout that I am (Be Prepared!), I had one in my trunk. She told me to go get it. A few minutes later, she was rocking my Schecter 5 string. Well, I thought it was pretty cool. Also, chatting with Glass Hammer bassist Steve Babb over a beer was pretty nice.
