Flemtone
Yo, Jeebus... I was just reading (in a manner of speaking) the EJ vs. JDiF thread, and you mentioned some GOOD jazz players in Toronto. I was up there a few years ago, and met (and went to a show by) a guitarist named Tory Cassis. He was playing at a small club called C'est What, and he blew the doors off. I believe he regularly appears at a jazz club somewhere in the city (at the corner of Starbucks and Pizza Pizza). If you get the chance, I'd highly recommend him. That's it. Just wanted to pass it along. Peace, Tim from Jersey Play. Just play.
Jeebus
Hey Flemtone, thanks for the heads up! I've heard good things about Tory Cassis before, and I believe he has a regular gig at C'est What. That club on the corner with Starbucks and Pizza Pizza wasn't called the Reservoir Lounge, was it? I'll be sure to check him out. Flemtone
Actually, from what I remember, isn't EVERY club on the corner of Starbucks and Pizza Pizza? Thanks for the reply. Later :>) -Tim from you-know-where Play. Just play.
