Bansaw
Just after I upgraded to Win10 Creators edition, I noticed a handful of VSTs not working. Notably MOTU Ethno & Symphonic, which had worked OK under regular Win10 64-bit. I eventually got MOTU working as a standalone by (re)installing some runtime DLLs related to Visual C++. Perhaps Win10 creator knocks some DLLs out...? Anyway, does anyone know what other tweaks to Win10 Creator that'll give me a good chance of getting my VSTs to work again. (Tried MOTU tech support, - not helpful so far.) I am using Reaper , latest ver. Sven Golly
There was an issue over the last few days with iLok's License Manager; I believe it was only on the Mac OS, but I'd recommend trying to update the iLok software, see if that helps. ElmerJFudd
Check with devs of your specific VSTs to see if they know what's up. Probably licensing related. I had a problem installing iLok manager on a machine recently after updating Windows. Solved it by checking their troubleshoot page: https://www.ilok.com/#!support/help/102029547/102029567/102029709 Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
Bansaw
Thanks, I tried MOTU tech support. Not very helpful at all so far. I did however make some progress by installing some Visual C++ old libraries, and got the standalone working. Now its just the VST thats not loading up, it just spins. ElmerJFudd
They do reply at Motu. If you're registered just need to check back your account messages each day. But it's August, so maybe their on skeleton crew with people on holiday. Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
