zeronyne
The Digi ICON: http://news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2004/ICON-sm.jpg I'm sure the price will be competitive. Seriously, hate them all you want and complain about the price, this looks awesome. "For instance" is not proof.
DallasPA
Hmmmm, Competition for the SX-1, you make me laugh!!!! You'll be able to buy 10 SX-1's for the price this beast is going to cost. Ohhh and by the way, since I picked up my SX-1 pro tools TDM is the safety chute, not the primary. If you could only buy 10 SX-1's for the price of an ICON, the ICON would be a bargain, indeed. Since it essentially has a full HD system in it, I'm guessing well over $75k. Anyone know for sure? Robman2
Studio eye candy, the client goes to NAB or NAMM, AES etc, sees the gear and thinks it's the ish'. That's called marketing. then, call it sales when collecting the money from the studio principals. This one may be a bit too much bit off to chew however. Sans everythin' it's a Pro Control on steriods. We'll see... R Label on the reverb, inside 1973 Ampeg G-212: "Folded Line Reverberation Unit" Manufactured by beautiful girls in Milton WIS. under controlled atmosphere conditions.
