aluk
I thought this was possible, but can't find anything about it, other than comments that an update should be available to enable it. Anyone got this working without physically modifying the jacks? Thanks!
ptheisen
The version 1.02 firmware update adds the ability to switch the internal speakers on or off while the headphone jacks are in use by using the function button combined with the uppermost F and F# keys. I can confirm that when I updated my FP-30 with version 1.02, the new functionality works as intended. I now see that firmware versions 1.03 and 1.04 have been issued, but I have not tried them, so I can't say what effect, if any, they might have on this. aluk
Perfect thank you - I didn't know that the upper F and F# switched it on and off. I did ask Roland the same question, they said it wasn't possible!
