vibes Posted March 17, 2004 Share Posted March 17, 2004 Hey all: Looking for some thoughts on a rack that I need to put together on the road. Basically will be using a rack mounted computer,motu 24 i/o as a player for tracks for a live act..I am not the sound man and am only responsible for this rig and keeping it working with the band. I do want to make it easy for the sound company yet can not afford a great deal of money at the moment. Need to have a way for the 1/4 inch outs from the motu split at least two ways for monitoring with headphone distributors within the rack and goinf to some type of rack mounted system that I can have the sound man simply connect his snake to the back of the rack without him actually touching the 1/4 inch jacks of the 20 i/o I did find something that looks like what I need yet am sure it's way out of our range at the moment.. It's from LA sound in the UK.. I'm sure there is a solution without using 1/4 inch splitters from the "shack"!
