It seems to've become the defacto choice for honoring James M Hendrix....it's sorta the "Over The Rainbow" of modern gtr.

 

Am I getting obsessed ? Maybe but it seems so are others.

BTW, my point is that this particular JH tune has risen to be his most favored composition & become the standard for demonstrating a pop guitarist's "soulful pedigree".
