DallasPA
Greetings, I have a korg 168RC digital mixer that I would like to use as a submixer to monitor DP3 and pro tool tracks. One problem, the 168RC has +4 TRS (tip-signal, sleeve-Grd) unbalanced connectors for the monitor outs, while my KRK E8's use XLR balanced. Would like a solution that wouldnt compromise my sound. fantasticsound
I would suggest an Ebtech Hum Eliminator. It has "smart plugs" that sense whether your signal is balanced or unbalanced. Uses TRS connectors so you'll need the appropriate TRS - XLR cables for connection from the Hum Eliminator to the monitors. It's easiest to find me on Facebook.
