ElmerJFudd
Yeah. She's ridonculous. I admittedly hadn't paid attention until you turned me onto her work a while back. So thanks for that! Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
marino
Knowing the piece and the pianist, I'm not sure I want to listen to this....

Markyboard
Not just one of if not the most technically difficult works written for the piano but absolutely a beautiful piece of music. Thanks for turning me on to this Dave.
Dave Bryce
Not just one of if not the most technically difficult works written for the piano What slays me about Martha's performnces is the way she phrases "double black diamond" pieces, it sounds like she's just basically talking. I hear no struggle at all - just the passion and emotion she brings. but absolutely a beautiful piece of music. Breathtaking, IMO. Thanks for turning me on to this Dave. My pleasure! If you like this, she has an incredible body of work. Start with some of the Prokofiev...this one's some fun: [video:youtube] dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
yannis D
It's funny, but when she was in her early 20s, after she won competitions etc, she abandoned everything to work for some years as a secretary in a dental doctor somewhere in NYC She said that she had enough with music...
