Yes, but Jan gets all his lead sounds from the MOSS board option. Basically a Z1 engine.

I was fortunate enough to have purchased my Triton Ex 61 when Korg offered the MOSS board as an incentive. It was really cool!

 

Alas, I sold the Triton years ago.

He did "in the past", yes ...

He did also when he was on tour w/ "Jeff Beck & the Jan Hammer Group".

 

But times changed and on the very last tour he did w/ Jeff Beck, he just only used a Triton Extreme incl. MOSS board.

 

And yes those MOSS leads do kick a disproportionately large amount of ass!

Also listen to Joe Z and his KORG "Prophecy" leads.

Then Lyle Mays used the KORG Z-1, 12 voices of that technology.
