Lots of display area in most locations devoted to souvenir tchotkes and the like, at least around here. Usually towards the front of the store. My area stores offer, along with local postcards, such can't-live-without-it items as various desert insects sacrificed to the paperweight gods, ballpoint pens with local imagery thereon, state-themed golf accessories, and the State run, internationally sold full color glossy local travel/history magazine.
