Ipad sampler/player that can load user samples

I´m on my way to get an Ipad.

Is there any sampler for IOS that can load/import user samples as Wav or other formats?

Was looking at Sampletank but it doesn´t seem to have that feature (yet).

(I think 3.1 adds MIDI keyboard playability from iOS)

MIDI Keyboard/MIDI Sampler/ME MIDI Sampler http://www.ngcybit.it/iTunesApp/music/

(it's a little unclear as to how these apps are different from each other)

Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)

You want SAMPL.

I use this all the time. It's great. I prepare my samples on my mac with Audacity then ship them over to the iPad over WiFi.

I was thinking you wanted to play samples from your keyboard over MIDI, but if you're looking to trigger then from virtual pads on the iPad itself, then look at everyone else's suggestions instead of mine!

Wizdom Music doesn't seem to get much love but I use SampleWiz quite a bit, though you can only play one sample at a time. I happen to trigger the lazer sound to kick off Steve Miller's Jungle Love in my band. I sampled my own whistle and sped it up a bit for the break and the reprise; Sampled a freind's whistle for the outro. I've got all the sounds in order so switching between them is a breeze. The playing interface is unique, fast, and easy; the graphics are great.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Well, I want to use it over midi, maybe occasionally some virtual pad triggering for fx, intros etc.

Maybe Soundfont Pro will suit me the best as I can convert different libraries to Soundfont format with the Chicken Sys Translator?

How the heck did you get your samples labelled, Scott? I just have to remember what I put where!

Maybe my version is too old?

Avoid Soundfont Pro - especially with an external keyboard. Locks up almost immediately the sustain pedal is used. I suspect the polyphony is rather low. Works okay when just using the screen and no sustain.

As far as I can tell it seems to be 12 notes and then it starts to s@#t itself.

There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence...
