MuzikTeechur
I'm with others - playing this currently in one of my bands, and a fat SAW does just fine. There are songs where the synth sound is really iconic and you want/need to get as close to the original as possible (even though most stuff from the 70's and 80's was analog and thus much more 'organic' than a digital board can replicate), such as "Jump", and then there are songs that "close enough" is close enough. Just my 2¢ worth. Oh, and: http://paulberetta.com/images/external/forums/zombie%20thread.jpg Muzikteechur is Lonnie, in Kittery, Maine. owenaitken
Apologies for not replying and a lack of overall information. The synth I currently use for my band is a JX-03 Roland Boutique Synth. Just wondering what would be the best way for me to replicate the introduction of the song. I'm aware Roland have made a boutique version of the Juno so maybe thats the best way to go. Cheers everyone. Can't believe we got the legendary Andrew Farriss in on this.
Synthoid
Roland SH7 in the video. A golden old-y for sure...... You are right! Cool, did not know this synth! Me either. When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
Tonysounds
ALWAYS wanted! Roland's early synths were really good, and they place REALLY nice! Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
