I'm with others - playing this currently in one of my bands, and a fat SAW does just fine.

There are songs where the synth sound is really iconic and you want/need to get as close to the original as possible (even though most stuff from the 70's and 80's was analog and thus much more 'organic' than a digital board can replicate), such as "Jump", and then there are songs that "close enough" is close enough.

 

Just my 2¢ worth.

Apologies for not replying and a lack of overall information.

 

The synth I currently use for my band is a JX-03 Roland Boutique Synth. Just wondering what would be the best way for me to replicate the introduction of the song. I'm aware Roland have made a boutique version of the Juno so maybe thats the best way to go.
