Dugg64
Just elated to share that I've secured a Toto Diamond Package at their Tulalip Casino show with Michael McDonald in August. The package includes Soundcheck, Q & A with the band, Meet & Greet, Photos, etc. I guess I'm a super starstruck fan. Been waiting awhile to ask Paich and Steve Porcaro a few questions. At any rate, I'm stoked!!
MuzikTeechur
I saw Michael McDonald with Steely Dan about 7 years ago. One of the best concerts I've ever seen - top notch musicians, and great music. It was like a religious experience. Have a great time! Muzikteechur is Lonnie, in Kittery, Maine. Dugg64
I saw them on the "Sugartooth McDan" (or something like that) tour about the same time. It was good to hear Mike on the "Peg" and "Kid Charlemagne" parts. Fun little tidbit - When my wife and I arrived at the hotel following the show, we got on the elevator and who should join us - MICHAEL "FREAKIN'" MCDONALD!!! We shared about a thirty second ride in which I told him that I was a music teacher and that we had just seen the show. He shook our hands and asked our names, wished all well and we got off on our floor. Kind of dumbstruck, we walked into our room, turned on the TV and the "40 Year Old Virgin" was on right at the scene where the Michael McDonald DVD is being played in the television department. Very surreal : )
