ADino
Ive owned one for almost a year now. Use it all the time. Actually, I only use 2 of the AP tones depending on the room. Like it quite a bit and it comes across very well. It gives me that plunk that I have a hard time finding w/most DP's. Sometimes I do trio's at places that have DP's, so I bring the Muse. Takes the guesswork out of the equation. Very handy lil bugger. Im still waiting for Muse to come out w/a new card for it. Also really nice on the phones. smanzella
I auditioned one at the Peavey store in Los Angeles last February. It sounded good to me. My problem with it is that I fear that if I buy one, my VSTi selections would be limited to only what runs on the MuseBox. For instance. if Pianoteq 4.5, or whatever comes after, doesn't work on it, I can't use it. My understanding of this unit is that VSTi's have to be somewhat customized to work on it. ADino
^ no, Your vst's will not work..u cannot load sounds into it like the Receptor. The only way to get new sounds is to wait for Peavey to introduce a new card/soundset for it. Which they told me they will, just not sure when.
