picker
Okay, Lou Reed trivia question; without looking at the album, who was the bass player on the Rock & Roll Animal album? Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.

Nicklab
A major loss indeed. I'm not going to pretend that I was a big fan. I only really started to get into Lou's solo work and the Velvet Underground in the past 5 years or so. But his impact on music has been incredible. That his work helped to steer the career direction of artistic giants like David Bowie, and was among the seeds that became punk? Those are major accomplishments. And generations of musicians owe Lou Reed a tremendous debt for breaking down some of the walls that opened up the options for a musician to express themselves. Richard W
Here's a pretty cool story about how the bass line for Walk on the Wild Side came together "in about 20 minutes."
