Ext Keyb & Mouse for a Win95 Laptop...?

Recommended Posts

My sis gave my mother her

old Hatachi notebook running W95...

The "pencil-eraser" cursor mover wasn't

quite what my (81yo) Moms could handle...

No problem, pop in a mouse and she's good to go...

Next, the little keyboard was too cramped,

so I tried to hook up an ext keyb by using

an adapter into the serial(?) port...

I tried everything I could think of but

could not get it to function...

I tried the ext.keys in the mouse

(P/2?) port, and it worked fine...

But I couldn't get them both to work...

Any help out there on this ancient PC/OS combo...?

Thanks,

Bob Phillips

Go to www.pricewatch.com and enter a search for a "ps/2 splitter".... they're like, $4 to $6 bucks.
