Fred_C Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 Hey Gents, Hope you're all well, prospering, and playing better than ever. The past few months have been very difficult for me as I've gone from one crisis to the next without taking a breath. Here's a short list. 1. You recall that my car was totaled in the parking lot and I had to buy a new car. Well, a drunken driver hit that car as well and took off. Fortunately, there was an eye-witness and the police found her. I got paid for the minimal damage to my car. But, a hassle nevertheless. 2. The motherboard on my computer quietly fried itself without warning, so I had to buy a new computer and all the stress that comes with data transfers, new software and like that. 3. We had a severe thunderstorm one night and the ceiling in my apartment building leaked. There was quite a bit of water on my apartment floor and some of my stuff got soaked. 4. Work has been challenging. I work for a software company that makes case management systems for prosecuting attorneys and public defenders. As you are probably aware, government budgets have been non-existent for the past few years and the ongoing existence of the company has been in question. Fortunately, that has been getting a little better lately. Oh well, into each life some rain must fall (so to speak). Once again, hope you're all doing well. If you play cool, you are cool. Maybe there`s a typo in the Chinese calendar, it`s looking less like the Year of the Snake and more like the Year of the Suck.
