scottasin
I'm more concerned about the depth and stability than the weight. I can't get at it right now, but I'd have to guess the suitcase is at least two feet deep, if not a couple more inches than that. That K&M Looks great though. I don't think I've seen anything else with that quality of cross bracing.
Doerfler
well, I've ordered the cheeckblock power supply, and now I'm thinking about the stand and sustain pedal/rod. As far as the stand goes, none of what I'm seeing seems to be even near the depth of the Rhodes, which just seems plain unsafe. Any of you guys putting your rhodes on a current stand? For the pedal, I'm probably gonna build one, all I think I'd need is a rod and a lever, and I might be able to pull the one thats built into the suitcase. I could buy one, but they're rather expensive when compared to essentially free. I have 2 Quick Lok WS-550 stands. One of them holds a Rhodes 88 Stage with a Clavinet E7 stacked on top 24/7. http://www.quiklok.com/catalog/?p=productsMore&iProduct=27&sName=WS-550 B & H is selling them for 79.99 inc S/H. can't go wrong with that http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=152996&Q=&is=REG&A=details as far as the pedal, if you are going to pull the one from the Suitcase cabinet you will likely damage the cabinet, IIRC
The Real MC
K&M 18950 Table-Style Keyboard Stand. http://static.bhphoto.com/images/images500x500/290518.jpg Not the cheaper substitutes. I use one of those for stage setup with three keyboards. Very strong and reliable stand. Definitely will support a Rhodes.
