I'm very close to the kit and cymbals. Tried a pair of these: http://www.acscustom.com/uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=40&Itemid=52 My local Boots does them. Just under £12. They worked fine - sounchecked levels first then put them in. Much more pleasant gig than usual. I'm not connected to Boots or anything - just wanted to share.
