hey, a friend just gave me a brand-new in the box, never opened

g-vox system...

unfortunately, i believe it's a 16 bit win 95 program, lol...

do ya think it's worth checking out, or should i strip it for parts?

did anyone mess with these, are they worth playing around with?

bet it won't run on this vista pos!!

;)

still tho...cool gift, even if it is like, 15 years out of date!

Is that the system for learnign guitar on the computer, with a hex-type pickup for mounting on the guitar? I have one, that I was given many moons ago. I used the pickup a couple of times to try to get some acoustic tracks into Cakewalk. It worked so-so for that; but I never used the G-Vox software. I still have a few unopened boxes of lessons & songs for it, including The Police. Good timing to bring this up, as I was going to put it out for our yardsale on Saturday (along with my BC Rich, Roland Cube, and Washburn AE20).

Yeah, I think we were using Windows 95 or maybe 2000 at the most.

I had that years ago, and wound up giving it to someone who appreciated it very much. It was OK, but nearly as cool as I had hoped or expected.

looked pretty cool wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back when.

maybe the hex pickup is useful? hmmmm

kev, if it works, it may be a cool way to write some guitar music?

maybe i should check ebay and see what they go for..

wow...it's nothing...and there are none....cool...lol.

maybe i'll throw it on the bay just for the heck of it..

Give 'er a whirl, find what you can do with it, you could probably find something where others might come up unimaginatively bust...

if gas prices weren't $4.20 a gallon here in the constipation state, it's cool enough where i'd take the pilgrimage to watkins glenn ny so the amazing and unique caevan o'shite could check it out!!

Say, Danzilla, I'm down here in Monkey County - could you send me a PM about your yard sale? You can also email me. I'm always looking for used pedals & such, but the Roland Cube sounds interesting, too. Thanks, WP.
