any opinion on the UA-1G sound card...?

I am thinking of getting the UA-1G.

 

Whats your opinion on it? Is it really low latency?

 

I have an Echo Indigo IO. How does it compare to that?

 

I can't keep using my echo since I have a new laptop that has no pcmcia slot.

 

I really liked it.

 

Also, I was thinking of getting the UA-1EX but the 1G has replaced it. But, I was thinking, "maybe I can get a UA-1EX from ebay. the 1G can't be that much better?"

 

The 1G is made by Roland (Cakewalk) and I use Sonar...

 

 

any comments?

 

(ps: I am just a regular home user, not a big budget, just looking to play my midi controller through Sonar and out to speakers. SOme live performance possible.)
