ksoper
My wife's uncle passed away on Sunday and the funeral is today. The family asked me to play the organ. My classical chops aren't up by a long shot, but I'm pretty sure I can get through a dozen or so hymns. The organ is an Allen, one of the Renaissance models, three manuals and I don't know how many electronic ranks. Of all the keyboard input devices available, I've always been the most comfortable on an AGO spec organ console. When I sat down to it a few days ago it felt like home. The keyboard action, while not nearly as stiff as a tracker, has a familiar firmness that I wish all synth action boards had. (Well, the old Minimoog did have it. I miss Pratt-Read) So, if you happen to hear a whisper of "How Great Thou Art" in your mind's ear, it's me. I'm stomping the crescendo pedal for the fourth verse. K. 9 Moog things, 3 Roland things, 2 Hammond things and a computer with stuff on it
