Odd volume problem on my Korg R3

My R3 just started doing something weird: the volume knob no longer takes the volume down to zero in one channel. The Right channel works fine, but with the Left/Mono channel, even when the volume knob is cranked all the way down, sound still comes out. Not much, mind you; I'd say it's the equivalent of the volume being set to about 1 (out of 10). And this happens with with the headphone out as well as the main audio outputs.

 

This isn't a catastrophe, just more of a nuisance. Still, I wanted to check with the more tech-inclined around here to see if this sounds like it might be an easy self-fix, or something that I'd need to take it in for.
