rizzo9247
I'm going into the studio in a few weeks and will be bringing 2 basses, my stingray with rounds and p bass with flats. I was told I will be "tuning down"; to what, I don't know, so I thought I would be prepared with a pair of high tension flats if I have to tune down to C#. Sugestions? wraub
Chromes. Seriously. I think the TI's and LaBella's are even higher tension still, but the Chromes are pretty groovy and less expensive as well (at least where I got mine.) I have Chromes on my J bass and it is schweet. Peace, wraub I'm a lot more like I am now than I was when I got here.
Nicklab
The LaBella's are seriously high tension. SERIOUSLY. But they're also expensive. Obligatory Social Media Link "My concern is, and I have to, uh, check with my accountant, that this might bump me into a higher, uh, tax..." jlrush
Fender flats in a .50 gauge are high tension, or so I thought when I had a set. I've heard the La Bellas are high tension too. Visit my band's new web site. www.themojoroots.com
jeremy c
TI's are low tension. The La Bella Jamerson set is about as high tension as you could get, more than you can imagine. Free download of my cd!.
