NewImprov
I collaborate with a rapper/poet, he comes to band rehearsals with 4-5 notebooks filled with stuff he's written. We write stuff by either jamming together or working on fragments people bring in. Inevitably, he finds something in his notebooks that fits the music. We do a lot of stuff in odd meters and polyrhtyms, so it's not simple grooves. He's very musical for a rapper, and has amazing time.
