arneyz
Hi all, I recently purchased an interface for my laptop setup that came with Cubase LE 4. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with it and if it's worth installing in my computer to replace GB as a primary recording software. Thanks, Zach Hooray for the Moon
arneyz
Also, does anyone know if Cubase LE can play/record soundfonts? Hooray for the Moon
raddtunes
I've been using Cubase for many years, and thoroughly enjoy it. It remains competive with any of the DAW's out there. I'm not able to compare it with Garage Band directly, but if you got a free copy I would think it might be worth a look for you, if you have the time. These days -- I think you can make good music on any available program - - period. What is a soundfont?
bloodyMary
Soundfont is a sample file format. Cubase by itself won't play soundfonts, but you can probably find free or cheap plug-in for it. So the general answer is yes. Stage: MOX6, V-machine, and Roland AX7 Rolls PM351 for IEMs. Home/recording: Roland FP4, a few guitars
