I constantly find answers to many questions I have regarding tone, signal paths, effects chains etc... Many of the posts I see on the board have been answered in great detail in your book. What I need is a similar guide to compression techniques. Usually I get it right after much trial and error but it would be great to have a compilation of recommended settings for a variety of applications. I own both opto and regular comressors. Do you know where I could get this info ? Thanks BTW.......I traded in my Gen3 for the GNX2 floor model. It gives me a lot more power and tone including a VERY good virtual TubeScreamer and Sparkledrive. I'm slowly building a library of Fender based patches.
