35" Scale 4-strings-- why so few?

Some of the luthiers (like Kinal) offer a variety of scale lengths.

 

I can play 35, but I feel better with something smaller. Even a little bit - my Kinal 5 is 34.5 - you can see the difference in the width of the 3rd fret (G on the E string).

 

Bump - some of the feel is just what you are used to, though there is some Novakian physics at work for a B string. If we ever get together, you have to try my short-scale mojo EB3. You might find that, like in other times of your life, you like playing with toys.
