That's exactly what I did. I did buy a couple more eminence speakers though. I built a one-cabinet stereo (sort of) thing out of an old Crate kx-160 box with two speakers in front (15" and a 6" - in parallel =4 ohms) for the left channel; and a 12" out one side and a 10" out the other for the right channel( wired in parallel). no crossover, but the signal goes through a tiny Behringer X.... mixer to a dbx 2 channel eq, a Beh. 'sonic maximizer' (whatever that is - bought on impulse at the checkout counter) and a 300 watt/channel power amp. Works well, especially on leslie sims, even makes the HS XK3 sim sound good (although it's tweaked some, an improvement, and runs on both L and R outputs from the instrument). The side speakers are good separation and are always aimed at the band no matter where they are set up, so they hear the keys, too. The main thing is it has plenty of power. I guess it's really a crate 180.
