Cheese-cutter action, a neck that could double as a medieval weapon, sheet-metal logo rattling 'n' buzzing on the headstock, the rich tone of soggy plywood; all-in-all, an UNmusical instrument of torture!! Seriously, I reeeeeeaaally just knew that I was destined to play guitar; then that horrible guitar- an old '60s Kay- totally discouraged and disillusioned me to the point of immediately giving up trying for years, it was so hard (re:IMPOSSIBLE) to play. I thought that all guitars would be the same! I didn't know that it was just a very, very bad example, and that there were better guitars out there that I actually could have played and learned on... !!
