I install the software, but there is no midi output devices just midi mapper when I try to choose output, no playback at all . My audio driver is a high definition audio device from microsoft. Unless you have some sort of built-in soundfont device on your audio card, MIDI will not make any noise by itself. MIDI is just note on/note off information. It's not audio. You need some sort of virtual instrument plugin or a soundfont player to map your MIDI, so it can produce sound based on the note information you've recorded in your MIDI track. It's the oldest question in the book for those new to audio recording - why doesn't MIDI make sound? Because MIDI isn't audio data. A bunch of loud, obnoxious music I USED to make with friends.
