ondray
I just found out about him. His songs are amazing and unique. I like his licks and riffs especially those really syncopated ones and also those where he (intentionally?) plays notes that clash with the chords. I bought 3 albums with the same songs but he plays them differently everytime. Different flavour everytime. I didn't know 12 bar blues could sound like this! ZZ Thorn
He plays some awesome pianny. He mentored Dr. John, as I recall. http://www.myspace.com/themoustachioed

picker
Professor Longhair had a top 40 hit in the late 50's/early 60's, right about the same B. Bumble and the Stingers had their hit with "Asia Minor", if I recall correctly, but I can't remember what it was. I used to hear it on the radio in Detroit. Loved his playing. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
