Guitar55
Sorry for the late notice, but for anyone in the Central NJ area, you may want to check out the annual guitar show at Brookdale College in Lincroft. www.brookdaleguitarshow.com

mdrs
Hey Guit55, What sort of a 335 are you looking for? New? Old? What's your budget? I was at the Cherry Hill Guitar Center today, and they have a really REALLY sweet Gibby reissue 335 that played and sounded awesome. It was pretty expensive, however.....something like $4500. It was as close to an old 335 as I've played. It gave me GAS pains to leave it in the store!! Don "There once was a note, Pure and Easy. Guitar55
I'm sure that's a sweet guitar. My budget is pretty tight. I know a guy who gets 335's on a regular basis (mostly early 2000's) and does wonders with setups and lets them go for under $2K. I just missed one he had and I'm waiting for the next. Another option is a Heritage 335.
mdrs
I like that first option....do they come with the '57 Classic pu's? The reissue is pricy. It's a great axe, but Gibby's can be over priced. The one I played was a killer...of course, I was playing it thru a 1965 Marshall 18 watt 2x10 that is to die for......doesn't hurt the tone......the tone meter was dimed. Bluesape
Dennis, have you checked out a Lucille? Less money, and a fabulous axe, although I find the necks a shade bigger, likely to BB's specs. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!
