But it had something to do with my deal where Musicians Friend had to honor their pledge to go 10% below Vitor Litz's advertised price, and they were including a hard case. fantasticsound Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 Epiphone guitars do not come with a hardshell case, with few exceptions. They usually do not ship with any case, if memory serves... 7 years ago they made an Epi issue of the "non-existant" Gibson Moderne, including the large, odd shaped headstock. Nobody had cases to fit this guitar and neither Epiphone or Gibson made preparations to make cases for it. We received lots of requests when I worked there, but to no avail. Gibson guitars are shipped to dealers in their cases, but it's up to the dealer how they choose to market and sell the two, together or separately. It's easiest to find me on Facebook.
