spigotsaol.com
Clients specs say: Mu, Law, Mono, 8kHz sampling rate, Dialogic vox file. My software says: Mu-Law is specific type of .wav file Dialogic .vox is an ADPCM .Vox format I have delivered both an 8kHz .vox and a mu-law .Wav file. Their IT department says neither are working. Can anyone shed some light? TIA, Frank
Dylan
What software did you use to create this files? Cool Edit? You might try Sound Forge instead if you haven't already. Maybe they want a wave file (i.e., with the .wav extension) that just has the codec applied to it. What software are your clients trying to open the sound files up with? spigotsaol.com
Hey Dylan. Thanks for the reply. I've tried both Cool Edit and Sound Forge. .Vox files appear to be ADPCM 4 bit only in regard to these two programs. The company is Southwestern Bell. I have no idea what software.
