superdave
Maybe I shouldn't be trying to play this yet but I heard it on the radio and forgot what a cool song it was. I downloaded it on powertab and have been working on the rythm chords. Now I want to try the intro of the solo part. Does anyone here know how to play this song vs. the way it's tabbed on powertab? I downloaded the song on limewire but when I try to play the early solo riff it doesn't sound right. I am not trying to play it as fast granted but something just doesn't sound right. Any help would be appreciated.

Squ
Yeah, you can't count on tabs to be accurate. Learning it by ear is good, even if it might seem to take forever. Red Red Rockit

Dr. Ellwood
I don't play that particular tune ..but it is a good one.. but one thing to remember is that ofter when "something don't sound right" there can be some other factors at work.. one is possiable open tuning the other is something is being capoed and played out of a different position with the capo.. take a listen with that in mind ..just an idea. http://www.thestringnetwork.com
Tedster
Do it like Leadbelly did...sing it acapella and just tap the rhythm on your acoustic 12 string. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
